Japanese Mountains

I've been playing alot of Super Marion lately, and it reminds me so much of Japanese mountains! Here are the mountains of Kobe, right over Kitano-cho. Look how lush and dense they look.

I know I haven't posted in a long while, but I ran into this photo and I just had to share it.
This, below, is what my culture class at Kobe University looked like. Check the shiny silvery knee pillow! zabuton :)

Did I mention how humid and dank the Japanese summer is?
This is from the beautiful view by the International Student Center at KU.

Cute Cafe: Buffo

There are tons of really cute cafes all over Kobe. This one is in Kitano.

Umbrellas

The people of Japan use umbrellas on hot bright summer days to stay in the shade.

Hosts!

Tuesday, June 29, 2010
Host clubs are where ladies with cash to spend are entertained by sexy, suave and cool young men. These stud muffins flirt and talk and pour drinks and basically make the girls feel like princesses of male attention.

I got lucky and found me some hosts one early morning near Paiyama :)

Colin and I also went on a Host spy mission in Osaka.

Blues Night

Sunday, June 27, 2010
Once a month there is a Blues Jam session at this bar Trinity in downtown Kobe. Tons of different people come and take turns jamming together. I got to play my sax!
